Magical Catalina

Last week I went to Catalina to dive Casino Point.
We took the 8:30am Cat Express from Long Beach and did 2 dives.
Conditions were good but not great for the location. Water temperature was in the mid 60s and visibility around 40ft.
We found the Suejac on our first dive and a big horn shark, too deep into its cave for a shot. Overcast skies did not invite fantastic kelp shots on this dive and I focused on macro. The sculpins were out in numbers! Water clarity called for Tv 1/125s, macro, forced flash.
On the second dive the sun was shinning and I lost the group shooting sunbursts in the kelp canopy. Tv 1/250s to 1/640s, no flash (obviously) to capture the sun rays. Automatic white balance works well above 20ft...
