So is it Canon or Nikon?

Let's not start a war here. Just don't waste your money on a brand that specializes in vaccum cleaners and have a cheap line of cameras. Canon and Nikon are both excellent choices. Olympus also have some decent point & shoot models that come with underwater housings.
