It seems the conditions have not been that bad. However, who would want to risk the high bacterial levels that usually follow rain to see a couple of garibaldis? Well, certainly not me. Plus even if I don't mind the water while diving, I have little tolerance for the one that falls on my head *after* the dive. 

So October has been pretty slow. Fortunately, I leave for Saba in a couple of days and although the topside weather forecast is rather similar to SoCal right now (rain, rain and a little rain), the diving should be a little more exciting in this Caribbean paradise. And it should be warmer too. Especially in the water.
