Photo frenzy in Shanghai

It seems this year I can't get any diving. The local condition, here in Southern California have been terrible. Viz is once again measured in inches and with the recent "tsunami" (a 3 foot wave here, we're luckier than the Japanese this time) that created disturbances in the form of rogue current and strange whirlpools, there's no way to tell when we'll be in the water again.
In the meantime, I travel.
This time I was sent to Shanghai, China for work. I brought my Canon T2i and was able to snap a few shots in between meetings.
That was my first time in China and I really enjoyed the contrast between modern busy China of the Pudong district with its skyscrapers and its shinny Pearl Tower and the more traditional architecture of the old temples and quarters.
I was staying at the Sheraton Four Point Daning and for the first time they gave me a room that matched the comments I always put on my reservations: high floor, far from the elevator. I was as far as it can gets from the chiming machines and on the 21st floor which happened to be the last. Nice roomy room with an amazing view of the surroundings and a glimpse of the Bund and Pudong in the distance. At night. When there was no fog, rain nor smog. Sometimes.
